Peder Ghost Of A Smile LP

For musical poetry rollicking incendiary passion with gypsy macabre and things the likes of its flotsam pizzicato, harken a while to Ghost Of A Smile, by Peder. In this album, and in the video for its title track he both directed and co-starred, Peder, formerly of DJ Peder, broods the wistful and sagacious in an emblematic saga of unnameable dream-like quietude and remorse. Stunningly orchestrated and also composed, all with its effectuations of musical/lyrical punctuations and melodic rhyme, there’s much to pull from this splendid abundance of daphne creeping with bittersweet.

The performance with Emma Sehested on the second number, Let’s Pretend, has the form and quality of how famously Antonio Carlos Jobim interchanged with the marvelous voice of Elis Regina. The lyrics and the performances thereof, savored of this mysterious rue, are strictly choice — the writing of Peder and one, Rasmus Olsen.  Here’s the official video for the title track Ghost Of A Smile
